करोनाच्या काळात वाटणाऱ्या सततच्या भीतीमुळे फिरायची प्रचंड आवड असणारे आम्ही (अर्थात मी आणि आमचे अहो 😄) गेली दोन वर्ष घरीच दडी मारून बसलो होतो.
एक दिवशी अचानक आमच्या एका केरळ ला राहणाऱ्या मित्राचा, लग्नाचं निमंत्रण द्यायला फोन आला. लग्न केरळ मध्येच आहे म्हंटल्यावर आम्ही नाचायचेच बाकी होतो. फिरायला आयती मिळालेली संधी कोण दवडेल. 😍
नेहमीच्या पर्यटन स्थळांपेक्षा कुठेतरी वेगळीकडे जाऊ, आणि मस्त chill करू असा प्लॅन करून आम्ही जिथे लग्न होतं त्या ठिकाणाहून त्यातल्या त्यात जवळ असणाऱ्या, निसर्ग सौंदर्याने नटलेल्या Vagamon (वागमोन) या छोट्याश्या hill station ला जायचं ठरवलं...
ड्रायव्हिंग ची आवड असल्यामुळे सेल्फ ड्राईव्ह कार घेऊन प्रवास सुरू केला.
संपूर्ण वेळ रस्त्यावरून गाडीने जाताना दोहोबजूने असलेली गर्द झाडीने आमचा संपूर्ण प्रवास अतिशय आल्हाददायक केला 😊

Despite being avid travellers, me and my husband didn't venture out much in the past 2 years due to the fear of Covid.
Our prayers were finally answered when we got invited to a wedding in Kerala by a friend. How could we have possibly said no to such an opportunity?
So, we packed our bags and took off! We avoided the usual tourist spots and decided to stay at a quaint little hill station called Vagamon.
We drove all the way to Vagamon in a car we had hired. We Zoomed past (Geddit?) a thick cover of trees which made the drive all the more pleasurable.
